Oral presentations will run in dedicated sessions and will be evaluated by a panel of experts for scientific merit, clarity, and presentation skills. Adhere strictly to time limits and follow the session chair’s instructions.
Presentation duration
Young Faculty Category: 10 minutes total (8 minutes presentation + 2 minutes discussion).
Young Scientist Category: 8 minutes total (6 minutes presentation + 2 minutes discussion).
Presentation format and logistics
Use PowerPoint (.ppt / .pptx) format. Ensure fonts and images are embedded.
Slides should be clear and professional; avoid excessive text.
Send your presentation by email or Google Drive as instructed by the organisers two days before presentation day.
Bring your presentation on a USB drive and arrive early to upload and check compatibility.
Evaluation criteria
Content and scientific quality: originality, clear objectives, robust methodology, and appropriate conclusions.
Organization and clarity: logical flow, clear explanations, and good use of visuals.
Delivery and presentation skills: confident delivery, clear pacing, audience engagement, and effective response to questions.
Relevance and impact: alignment with conference themes and potential contribution to the field.
Presenters are strongly encouraged to rehearse to keep within the allotted time. Judges’ decisions are final.
