Education & Role: Holds a Ph.D. and works as an active biomedical researcher specializing in tumor progression and cancer disparities.
Awards & Grants: Received a $100,000 research grant from the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama to study novel axes in breast cancer progression.
Collaborations: Co-investigator on studies evaluating cancer mechanisms and novel therapeutic strategies alongside other faculty at the University of South Alabama.

Tumor Progression: The role of endogenous growth factors and neurohormones in tumor progression. Prostate Cancer: How endogenous growth factors contribute to prostate cancer growth and metastasis, as well as prostate cancer-associated racial disparities. Breast & Gastric Cancer: Exploring novel molecular axes and mechanisms in breast and gastrointestinal cancers. Cancer Biology: Tumor microenvironment and angiogenesis.
