Biography
Jogender Tushir-Singh, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology at the University of California, Davis (UC Davis). His research heavily revolves around rational protein engineering and the development of multi-targeting antibodies and Chimeric Antigen Receptors (CARs) to treat human cancers and other complex pathologies.
Current Role: Associate Professor, Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology, School of Medicine, UC Davis Campus.
Affiliations: Member of the UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center therapeutics program, and faculty member within the Immunology Graduate Group and the Biochemistry, Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology (BMCDB) Graduate Group.
Background: He previously trained/worked at the Zamore Lab within the RNA Therapeutics Institute at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, as well as the University of Virginia's Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics.
Funding & Support: His cutting-edge therapeutic research is backed by prominent agencies, including the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and the National Cancer Institute (NCI, NIH).
